I have learned as a young female living in a society that judges women by appearance alone you have to love yourself to be able to love someone else. Accept your flaws, embrace your personality to the full extent. One thing that many people in my life has judge me on the color of my skin. Yes I am darker than most people and I have allowed people in the past to ridicule me because of it. But one thing my mother always told me was " You are my daughter and you will always in my eyes be a sight to behold but people will never see you as beautiful until you feel you are beautiful". And from that day I changed my views of myself around and I embraced every flaw about me and tended to care less about the bullies and more about finding me.
